"We went for a weekend and I highly recommend the Holiday Inn. The room was clean, the AC was cold, the bed was very comfortable. Two cons: 1: the room was that we got the room behind the elevator. While we did not hear the elevator, the layout wrapped around the shaft and that meant a narrow hallway to the room, which was annoying with bags and a stroller. 2: the bathroom door was a sliding barn style door and it weighed a ton. I struggled with it, so kids or the elderly will simply have to poop with the door open. The neighborhood is very central, so you won't need your car if you want to wander the town (I recommend Beignet Company for breakfast). The restaurant is great, upscale, and open late. Dinner can be ordered at the bar until 945, so if you get in late, you don't have to find a diner or eat gas station hotdogs. The staff was friendly, the parking was cheap at $15/day, the lobby is huge. I did not use the pool, so I cannot speak to that. The rooftop bar is undergoing renovations and was closed as of late July. They DO have cribs if you have a baby/toddler and don't want to lug around a pack and play."
"First time in landcaster for a convention. It was a nice option for sleeping arrangements. It still smelled new and clean. We could smell the wood in the hallways. Very beautiful hotel."
"This is a perfect place to stay in Lancaster. Close to everything but also on a quiet cozy street. Highly recommend. It would be great to have a fully fenced in yard for the pups but other than that a 10."
Luxury Manor on Mulberry in the heart of Downtown Lanc
10/10 Excellent
"One word: exceptional. It was absolutely clean, loaded with new/modern amenities and tastefully appointed to keep that old school charm. Plenty of room for a small group to gather and socialize with two hotel quality bedrooms and bathrooms on the second floor. A lovely kitchen stocked with everything you’d need to prepare a family meal. The 3rd floor loft makes for a perfect as a kids retreat (with a large public playground steps away from the backyard if they need to burn off some energy. Location can’t be beat. Easily in walking distance to the baseball stadium, F&M College, some nice local restaurants/eateries and downtown action is a brief walk or a short Uber ride away. It was everything we needed for a reunion and then some. And you won’t find nicer, more communicative hosts who give you all the info you need in advance from check in to check out and are quick to respond if you have any questions. We will definitely stay here again and if you’re coming to visit in Lancaster, you should too. 6 stars out of 5!"
