"Request a room upstairs, request a room upstairs, request a room upstairs. Despite an amazing location, remodeled rooms and amazing stay, my only complaint is how thin the walls are. We go to bed fairly early but people upstairs stayed up and walked around and played music until 2am. It’s not their fault but I would request the room upstairs if I planned to stay again “also request a fan because it’s wayyyy too quiet and you hear everything!!!! But again, it’s a beautiful location, beautiful rooms and for the price, I’d book again"
Hotel Marina Riviera

"The remodel of this hotel was fantastic. The design and location are unbeatable. The views, the fire pits, the sand chairs, the pool are all super nice. The pizza place is great with top notch dinner views. A few things. The ceilings are thin and could hear a lot of noise above us. Feet walking a lot, possibly a dog walking and jumping off the bed a lot throughout the night and early morning. Also they sell Resort Passes for the pool, a majority of the chairs were taken by locals leaving guests with no loungers or have the squeeze 2 people onto one chair. At $300 a night, a guest shouldn’t have to fight locals for a lounger by the pool. Overall very good, we would go back but please limit how many resort passes you allow in the pool at once. It should exceed 25-50% of seating."

"We always stay at the Lagonita, its right on the lake, which is great. The full kitchens are very convenient. Fireplace in each unit. Not far from the village. Very quiet and peaceful. They have activities, you can rent boats and they have a boat tour of the lake you can take. The parking situation is good. The staff are always helpful. Only drawback is no air conditioning, but they give you a fan lol. Its never bothered us, better to breath in the fresh mountain air."

"Our two nights at the cabin were not enough! The cabin was very clean and comfortable! Sitting out back gave the most beautiful lakeside view and was very relaxing! I hope to return for a longer stay. Thanks Curtis and Heather!"

"Everything was exactly as described. I had no communication issues with the host. There was plenty of space, with four bedrooms and enough bathrooms for everyone. The best part was how quiet the property was, even though it was close to the main road, especially at night. My family and I had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed our time there."

"Beautiful cabin, and amazing game room! Peaceful neighborhood, perfect distance from Boulder Bay. Just some quirky stuff with the lights, coffee maker and televisions. The driveway is difficult to maneuver with multiple cars. Backing in and out is very challenging because it is so narrow and we don’t even have large cars. Good luck with that! The rule was not to park on the road although some other residence or guests parked in front of the house our entire stay. You can only reach Destination Big Bear who facilitates the property through text primarily."
