"Request a room upstairs, request a room upstairs, request a room upstairs. Despite an amazing location, remodeled rooms and amazing stay, my only complaint is how thin the walls are. We go to bed fairly early but people upstairs stayed up and walked around and played music until 2am. It’s not their fault but I would request the room upstairs if I planned to stay again “also request a fan because it’s wayyyy too quiet and you hear everything!!!! But again, it’s a beautiful location, beautiful rooms and for the price, I’d book again"

"We always stay at the Lagonita, its right on the lake, which is great. The full kitchens are very convenient. Fireplace in each unit. Not far from the village. Very quiet and peaceful. They have activities, you can rent boats and they have a boat tour of the lake you can take. The parking situation is good. The staff are always helpful. Only drawback is no air conditioning, but they give you a fan lol. Its never bothered us, better to breath in the fresh mountain air."

"Clean well stocked cabin in a quiet neighborhood. Furry friends loved the backyard. Had to pick some foxtails which are a hazard for dogs. Front part of cabin does get hot due to sun exposure. Would be nice to have a tv in the bedroom. Otherwise, enjoyed the stay. Host Big Bear Cool Cabins were responsive to questions. Also there's a security camera on the porch. So smile!"

"We found the perfect place to decompress! The house is charming with good view from the deck. The grill included puts a nice touch to it. It was a warm week when we stayed so the AC in the second floor was a very good addition. The place is super cozy.Jennifer (host) was super responsive. She recommended places although we didn’t go to a lot of it since just being in the house is vacation itself. She also went above and beyond in helping me when I needed my jewelry (that I accidentally left behind) to be mailed. Simple act that I truly appreciated! I recommend this place 1000%!"

"Great little place to stay! Perfect for just a couple or a small party of 6. Beautiful view from the front looking out over part of BBL. The hot tub and the bbq on those mountainous cool nights added to our wonderful memories. Super quiet and respectful neighborhood. Plenty of parking in front of the home. Host was very quick in response time with any inquiries. Only a mile, give or take, from the hustle of the small, quaint downtown. Easy to get to, really easy to relax, breath deeply the great outdoors, exhale your city life worries and, well,.....enjoy!"

"Great location. Wonderful home and property. We loved fishing off the dock and playing pool as a family. Clean and comfortable. A lovely home with many amenities! It should be noted that the game room/bedroom 3 is not attached. Very close to main home but the garage and that room are in an adjacent building. Would stay again!"
