"A great location - room generally clean except for mold in shower room - sealant needs replacing Dated furniture and carpets But was ok for a one night stay at a budget price Bed was rock hard if you like that Overall ok for what I needed"

"We stayed for one night,to go dancing in the Venue.Ideal location the staff were very friendly ,the breakfast all you can eat was value for money,plenty of space in the dinning area,the only negative i can say its in need of a lick of paint and a refurbishment in the rooms.It was good value for money though 😉"

"The hotel is ideally located in the village with an outside seating area across the road and overlooking the river. We ordered salads for lunch which were brought to our table in PLASTIC baskets with the salad presented on a serviette! When questioned the waiter explained that they do not allow crockery outside yet drinks were served in glasses! Given our experience at lunch we chose to eat our evening meal at a Tapas bar and our breakfast at a nearby coffee shop. The hotel is in need of some TLC but as we only needed a bed for the night it served it's purpose. There is a large public car park at the rear of the hotel which costs a very reasonable £8 for 24 hours (but free if you book direct with the hotel). Despite the record temperature we slept extremely well (aided and abetted by alcohol)"

"Great location - 10 min walk along river into Llangollen - superb town. Hotel grounds lovely, good facilities, breakfast good-ish. Room in the modern extension (20 years ago) was upgraded at small-ish cost via auction. Comfortable but creaky bed. No a/c and as bedroom was at front and weather warm, was a bit of noise...England at World Cup on TV for one of the nights! Overall, best looking hotel in town based on our search and very easy parking. Spa looked great, but didn't use."
