Property was immaculate. Great views. Customer service responded quickly. Having a kitchen on site, parking, decent size fridge/freezer and coffee machine… all big bonuses. Only downside was the laundry machine and dryers were very small and even after drying for an hour our clothes were still wet. Overall, I would stay again but don’t depend on the laundry facilities being fast. 😅

The hotel is situated in the country, near tall trees and grape vines, convenient to hiking in that part of Madeira. The views were lovely. The staff were helpful and friendly. For the 3 of us, the room was a bit crowded, but okay.

This was my second time staying at Cliff bay and it was even more exceptional than the first. The have very low employee turnover so you are remembered which was very nice:-) The food is world class and the accommodations were amazing, I am already planning my next visit!!!

Overall, we had a great stay! The hotel was lovely and offered excellent amenities, including a pool, sauna, steam room, and an excellent breakfast buffet. The location was also great, and we really enjoyed how peaceful and uncrowded the hotel felt during what appeared to be the off-season. At times, it felt like we had the place to ourselves. This property is charming. The rooms are very comfortable. The bed is comfortable and housekeeping does an excellent job. My room was cleaned everyday. The breakfast that is included was delicious. A nice variety of breakfast foods. Natalie does not speak very much English so it is hard to communicate but send a message through the Expedia app and you get an immediate response. Excellent property! The hotel is in a beautiful, quiet village surrounded by amazing views. Feels like you’re in Santorini! Staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions. The hotel has pricing for affordable rentals cars, much cheaper than what we paid. Definitely worth staying at if you want to be away from the city.

This is a lovely quinta in a gorgeous setting. The hotel receptionist/waitress was extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. The room was big and comfortable.
