"On check in , I was greeted by a very friendly chap. Answered my questions effectively. I had booked one of the upgraded rooms. Nice design, very clean, comfortable mattress. Be warned that rooms are quite small. Even sitting down on the toilet can be cramped ! Breakfast is satisfactory. Just continental. I have enjoyed much better but it is only £9 and you can eat all you can ! The Lady tidying up the plates and ensuring stock levels were good, on my second morning was not the usual and she wasn't quite as approachable or helpful. I paid quite a high price for my two nights but I do like this hotel, especially for its location. Only 10/15 minutes walk to bull ring / new street station. And staff generally better than many places. Parking is limited due to refurbishment work, so arrive early if you can !!!"
