"Interesting spot. It’s a pub with a hotel attached, and the pub is somewhere between an upmarket Wetherspoons and a Yates’s Wine Lodge. That’s meant positively, by the way! The hotel has over 50 rooms and could probably best be described as a little tired, but not in a particularly harsh way. Everything was perfectly clean and tidy, and the rooms were functional and absolutely fine for what we needed. One word of warning: avoid a street-facing room if you can. There are two pelican crossings outside, both of which beep away all night. One of our guys had one of those rooms and eventually gave up and asked to be moved. I suspect the pelicans were having a better night's sleep than he was. Breakfast is loosely described as continental. "I want to thank the reception desk (likely from the Indian subcontinent), the one guy who was in the morning when I arrived very early (7AM) and the other lady who helped in the check in during the noon. Both are amazing. Rooms are clean. I didn't have much expectations, but it was so good that it prompted me to write this. The pods and the separation is a highlight even for a mixed bunk bed. From the Coach station, its quite close, but to board FlixBus I had to walk a bit, but no complaints on the location. You could see the beautiful mural art all around the neighborhood. Thanks for making the stay pleasant"
