"This is a fantastic location, conveniently situated close to the motorway network while still offering a peaceful rural setting. The hot tub and swimming pool were excellent additions and really enhanced the stay. The amenities are modern overall; however, the TV and WiFi were disappointing. The WiFi connection was very unreliable and barely usable at times, and the TV did not support streaming services, which was a drawback."

"The property was clean and well maintained, and the housekeeping team did an excellent job throughout our stay\. Unfortunately, that was the only positive aspect of our experience\. The air conditioning was not working for the entire three days we stayed\. When we arrived, we found fans in the room, which suggested the hotel was already aware of the issue\. Now it has turned into a Spa Resort, great for those who like and want to be pampered, no problems there, but we did find the restaurants evening menu is now very restricted for choice., plus there was always cold blasts of air, making it very uncomfortable to dine. Back in the day the then Ostler restaurant was far superior"

"The hotel staff are good especially reception and the gym but the spa which I was looking forward to it Wasn’t great You have to pay extra so my husband couldn’t use the facilities even though I had 3 treatments Which were not great the therapists are only just out of training yet they charge full price I must admit I was lucky with my facial which was excellent But the whole spa experience is not worth the money"

"This hotel was a bit of a surprise. The set up looks more like a motel and we were concerned there would be noise from the parking lot but it was fine. Our room appeared recently renovated and was very well thought through & appointed. No complaints! The restaurant sits right on the river and has a wonderful breakfast so be sure to sign up for that. Lovely view & you can watch boats go by while dining. Lovely, helpful staff. We were very pleased and would be happy to stay again."
