"A lovely stay with a friend. Hotel staff were friendly and attentive. We found our room, the furthest point of the hotel up 3 flights of spiral stairs. It was clean and comfortable however due to a water leak along the corridor, the room smelt damp. Comfy bed and pilllows, had a good nights sleep! We also enjoyed a wonderful meal in the restaurant. Visitors should however be given better directions to the carpark which is around the back. Thanks for a lovely stay "

Especially when a function is on! Having said that our room was lovely and clean with heaps of room , very handy for trip into Southampton for the boat show. Lovely breakfast too! "

"Lovely Sunday night stay at a charming Inn. The staff were very polite and friendly and the breakfast was excellent. The room was a little hot but there was a Dyson fan which worked well. In the bedroom were Coffee and tea making facilities and an iron and ironing board. There was no wardrobe but there was a hanging rail ( definitely ok for an overnight stay). I took my own hairdryer and didn’t see one in the room. Plenty of plugs available and a large TV. The bed was comfortable and...

"Ideal location for the centre of town. Comfortable room with all requirements for an overnight stay. Perfect location to start the coastal path walk. Stayed at the beginning of walk Sunday very quiet at night. Stayed at end of walk Saturday night. Very noisy outside in street until early hours, even with windows closed Otherwise great place to stay. Staff lovely and helpful. Meal choice good and plentiful "

"During my stay at the Wykeham Arms, I stayed in two different rooms since I decided to extend my visit by an extra night. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The La Boîte room is perfect for a solo traveller, while on my third night, I stayed in the Cannon double room, which was also perfect for travellers. Both rooms were exceptionally clean, modern, and comfortable. Whether it's for food, drinks, an overnight stay, or all of the above, the Wykeham would be my first choice. Thanks...

"We were going to a wedding nearby and needed an early check in to be able to get changed, having flown into LHR 2 hours earlier. The manager (Amanda I think her name was) had both our rooms ready for us which was amazing. Rooms were spacious, well furnished and immaculately clean. Breakfast was fab (I had eggs florentine). All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We'll be back :-)"
