"Beautiful room with beautiful views of ocean and Los Gigantes cliffs. Beautiful pool with poolside bar. Smaller and more personal than a huge resort hotel. Best of all, the staff were really lovely."

"What a wonderful hotel and the all inclusive was excellent. We enjoyed having lunch at Breeze overlooking the ocean - you could even have steak! Breakfast and dinner buffets were brilliant as well. The all inclusive included all drinks and the cocktails were freshly made. The wine was from a bottle and not on tap and very good quality. I recommend the pina coladas and Aperol Spritz! The pool area was well maintained - we could always find a sunbed. We hired a car which was quicker and cheaper than a transfer from the airport and have us the opportunity to drive up Mt Teide and to the Masca Gorge - both of which were stunning views and the landscape is beautiful. All in all a wonderful relaxing week away! Thank you Barcelo Santiago!"

"Had at great stay at the royal sun. Our apartment was beautiful and we had everything we could need. We had a three bed on the top floor. The facilities in the room were superb, especially the jacuzzi. The bathrobe and slippers were a nice touch too. Beds were very comfortable. Whole apartment was spotless and great quality towels. The views were to die for at all times of the day. We also found the area very peaceful. Great to have our own area to chill in water and lounge on the sunbeds on the huge balcony. TV in main bed room too that has access to the balcony. All staff we met were great especially the blonde receptionist we met at check in. We didn't use housekeeping as we only stayed 5 nights and we tidy as we go but we met the ladies to change towels and get a few coffees and they were lovely also. Shop was really handy, you wouldn't be stuck for anything and nice staff here too. Didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on food or drink. The pool was a nice temperature and not too busy on our stay so my daughter had plenty fun here with her snorkel set. Loads of sun loungers and umbrellas on a beautiful deck. Sea views and a bar with ice-cream and snacks also. We did avail of a late check out and we were accommodated till 1pm for an extra €20 which we were delighted with. Overall this is a great resort with everything you could need. The apartment was amazing for the money we paid so we felt it was good value for our group of 6. I would definitely return. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the villa. It’s in a beautiful location, close to the marina and only a 10-minute walk to the beach. The beach itself is quite small, rocky, and does get busy, but going early makes it a lovely spot to enjoy.The villa has everything you need for a home-from-home stay. It’s tucked away, off the road and gated, which felt very safe and ideal for children. The pool is smaller than we expected but was perfect for little ones, and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. Gary was also very helpful when we arrived, which made settling in easy.There were a few things to note: the beds in the main room were a little hard (though the other bedrooms were very comfortable), and the bedrooms would benefit from blackout blinds as it gets very bright early in the morning. Being close to a hotel meant it could be a bit noisy in the evenings, but the location made up for it with convenience.The pool was only cleaned once during our 10-day stay, and we did run into an issue on day 8 which meant the children couldn’t use it for a short time – however, it was resolved very quickly. Parking was also a bit of a challenge, as the nearby streets had limited space and the villa’s private space is on a hill, making it tricky with a larger family car.Overall, despite these small downsides, the villa is a lovely place for a family holiday, with a great location and plenty of positives that made our stay enjoyable."
