"I wish I could give more than 5 stars to the front desk staff. They were so helpful giving easy directions to grocery stores, train station, best bus stop to the airport etc. Very central location. I’d stay here again. "

"Check in was a bit of a hassle. We never received the mandatory checkin email, which required chatting with hotels.com to resolve the issue. We tried to call the smartflats people after receiving the number from hotels.com (the one on the website is disconnected) directly and were put on hold (while we were chatting with hotels.com) and after 15 minutes of being on hold, we hung up. The checkin also requires a photo id scan from your phone as well as an additional $$ euro deposit before they will give you the access codes. Just expect some hassles trying to check yourself in. Also, they’re doing MAJOR construction directly across the street, which resulted in a 7:30 wake up call of pneumatic drills followed by the sound of falling bricks. This continued throughout the day. It was however tolerable. The flat did come with a small washing machine—a definite plus—but no dryer nor clothesline/pins to hang up things to dry afterward. We made due by hanging things from open windows and the radiator. Finally, the coffee maker uses little custom espresso sachets, and they only give you a couple for the entire stay. If you like making coffee in your room in the morning, best to bring your own instant. There was an electric kettle. The room itself is quite comfortable and a good location. "

"I loved everything about this hotel. Very good location, parking is easy. Though it would be nice if the hotel had an arrangement with the parking management to have in and out privileges for the hotel guests. Room was spacious, clean. Breakfast was great. Lots of choices. We had lunch there as well, enjoyed surroundings while sited outside. On check out we asked for 2 bottle of waters as we were heading out and to our surprise Alexander, the front desk clerk, treated us with a small bag of Belgian chocolates in addition to 2 water bottles. Chocolates were so goood! Thank you to Alexander from Bulgaria!"

"We got upgraded to suite room. Very unique , modern, and very spacious. The rooms we had were accessed by a small spiral staircase, which is ok by us but perhaps not ideal for person with mobility issue. Receptionist and Eric were very helpful giving recommendations. Few steps away from the center of Antwerp. Breakfast was good and unlimited coffee and tea during the day. Very recommend this hotel. Paid parking 4 min walking distance. "

"A very good apart-hotel, beautiful interior fitout. The app is very useful, and explains how to use all the amenities in the room. The hotel is more beautiful than the pictures online. The room was very very big. Staff are very attentive and helpful, replying to WhatsApp messages quickly. The location is perfect, a 2 minute walk from the metro and close walk to Antwerps popular shopping city. If I had to be very picky, the only thing I would say is that some features offered online and via Expedia are outdated. For example, Expedia offer pay at the property however this is not possible as there is no concierge desk. So they will charge your card full payment a few days before your stay. Also, we were told a welcome bottle of champagne on check in, which we did not get. Also, the room was told to have SONOS (surround speakers) which we later found out is no longer a feature for their rooms. The websites need updating. However, that was not enough to ruin our stay. It was amazing and we will definitely be coming back. "
