"Nous avons passé une première semaine très éprouvante à Naples et sur la côte amalfitaine, où il a fait très chaud et où il y avait beaucoup (trop) de monde. Nous étions donc à la recherche d'une longue pause de plusieurs jours et nous avons trouvé ce petit coin de paradis ! La propriétaire a été à notre écoute pendant tout notre séjour et a tout fait en sorte que notre séjour se passe pour le mieux. Tout simplement parfait ! La struttura è recentemente ristrutturata ed è dotata di ogni comfort. We considered staying in Paestum to be close to the great temples but knowing that La Mortella was only 20 minutes away convinced us to try something different during our Italia tour. "My great grandfather was born in the very small town of Aquara and, in planning our trip from the USA to Italy, we were looking for a peaceful, welcoming spot to stay while we paid a short visit to the city. The staff was terrifically accommodating and the property was beautiful. There is a restaurant, small bar and pool on site as well as short walking trail, hammocks and, since they are up on a hill, beautiful views of the valley below Aquara. "

"Stayed at several B&Bs during our trip. This one we would not return to. AC wouldn't go below 28c/82f. The beds were really hard, so between the heat and bed it was very hard to sleep. Be prepared to carry your bags up spiral staircase 3 floors without help. Bring a towel for pool, they do not provide.
