"Hotel Granvia sits above Kyoto Station, it is a very long hotel, so there maybe some walikng required before you reach your room. The rooms are spacious with everything you require to make your stay pleasent, maybe just a few more english tv channels would be nice. The hotel is in a great location and is walking distance to a lot of the big temples, shrines and big department stores. It also has the added convenience of quick access to the main train and bus services."

"Really enjoyed our stay. Breakfasts were brilliant and everything was very clean. Staff were very attentive. Facilities were great and there was even a way of checking how long was left on the machines in the laundry on your phone! Wasn’t much room to store clothes in the room however but we improvised. Would definitely stay again"

"Our stay here was amazing. I can highly recommend this place. It was clean, upmarket, very nice and so close to the train. The room was spacious, the bathroom stunning. The Onsen was beautiful and catered for everything and worth a visit. The staff were helpful and very welcoming every time we came in. Breakfast was delicious and very well catered. We visited the Family Mart next door every night and went for Starbucks coffee every morning which is next door. Location was perfect. Train was directly opposite and very convenient, one stop to Kyoto Central train station. The location is safe and very quiet. You will not regret staying here. "
