"It took a little longer than expected to check in, not sure why. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was very nice, clean, water in the frig. It was disappointing the next morning that the coffee kiosk was not open due to lack of staffing. Also, we are from NV and are used to free drinks while we are gambling, which was not the case here."

"I have stayed here multiple times. My daughter attends the nearby college so it’s very convenient. The property is very clean and well maintained, showers are great, and the restaurants have good food. Unfortunately the employees at the front desk seem to really dislike their jobs. Every time I come in I feel like I’m bothering them to check in or ask a question. I asked if we could check out 30 minutes late, and was told I’d pay $20 if we were even 5 minutes late. The conversation wasn’t friendly, and the woman at the desk acted annoyed that I’d even asked. We did not do late check out. When I opened our room door to leave at 10:55am, there was a woman with a clip board standing outside of our room. It appeared that she was waiting for us to leave late or something. She was also quite rude. We may return for the convenience, but I’ll look elsewhere first. If Silver Reef wants customers to come and spend their money there, they should teach their staff about hospitality and customer service."

"So I would give it 5 stars if not for the limited staffing of the front desk, nobody there from late ngt till 8am, hopefully u don’t have a problem overnight👎 And the fact they use Pluto TV for streaming which requires u as a guest to sign up w Pluto TV to be able to watch anything. They have zero local tv or news, only streaming."

"A well-equipped property located right at the ferry terminal. Facility is very suitable for our 3-person stay, with everything we need. Rooms are clean and the bed linens are excellent. The wireless signal is very strong. Fridge, stove, oven, and microwave worked perfectly. We didn't use the washing machine but it is certainly very helpful for guests staying longer times. Given the property's closeness to the terminal and road, We were worried about the traffic noise but it turned out that the traffic was quite light during night,Communication with the property was very easy and prompt. Messages to the property were responded within minutes. We don't have much experience staying in an Airbnb type of facility. When getting the entry code, we thought that it was an electronic accessing code and that the door would open after the code was entered. Failing to open the door, we sent a text message and within minutes we got a call telling us where the key was. We like the feature of the messaging system that could also take and send pictures. If possible, we would recommend that a cloth closet (and/or more hangers) be provided. We only stayed two nights (reserved three but left earlier due to schedule change) so those hangers behind the bedroom door was enough but for long staying guests, a closet or standing hangers would be very helpful."

"Great house in a great location close to the ferry dock and a beautiful view. We loved sitting on the deck watching the ferries come in and out. Things are dated for sure, but that is part of the charm of the place. Kitchen had everything we needed for some basic meals at home, Rooms were clean and host was very responsive."
