"We had a great time at the trumpeter, it was close to town but felt like we were in the country as well. The host was super friendly and made us feel at home. Was fun feeding the goats and alpacas. The host leaves little bags of feed for guests to feed the animals which was fun. Breakfast was plentiful. Room and bathroom were nice. Had a nice area to watch movies or just converse in between things to do. Great stay overall and would 100% stay here again."

"Great place to stay. Comfortable cabins with well-appointed kitchens. Views were incredible! Fully enjoyed the firewood and fire pits both evenings - great way to chat with other guests. Didn’t realize until we were checking out how well-stocked the gift shop was with grocery essentials - knowing this sooner would have saved us several trips to town so be sure to check it out!"

"Absolutely loved this rental location! Linens and beds were very comfortable, kitchen is very well stocked, home decor is very welcoming and warm, and the view is insane!!!!The host was very detailed about procedures for the home as well as very informative about island life, things to do and places to go!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Comfortable, clean and charming! An older but well-maintained home with personality. Well-stocked -- we had everything we needed, including a grill -- in a quiet location and fantastic views. Wildlife viewing right from the cabin, including orcas, river otters, harbor seals, a bald eagle perched on a tree by the deck, a fox, and some deer. Clear instructions and good communication from the management company so there was no confusion or unpleasant surprises. Quick access to the alpaca farm and Roche Harbor. Also appreciated the discounts for booking excursions for kayaking and whale watching cruises! We would come back to stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable getaway from the crowds."
