Top Oslo Hotel Reviews

Citybox Oslo

Citybox Oslo

10/10 Excellent
"Although very basic, well appointed hotel. Very close to station and attractions. Rooms very comfy with excellent beds, black out blinds work well. There is quite a bit of street noise depending on room and floor but always travel with ear plugs so not personally a concern. Certainly represents good value for oslo"

Comfort Hotel Xpress Youngstorget

10/10 Excellent
"It’s right at the centre of Oslo and there’s easy access to dining, shopping, and transportation. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the central station and bus station. The room is just enough size for me and it’s clean. Despite being in the centre of the city, it’s quiet and I never had problems sleeping. Staff are helpful."

What is a historic hotel like in Oslo?
A historic hotel gives guests an opportunity to stay in a place that's been officially recognized with a national historic designation. These types of hotels in Oslo often preserve original characteristics like traditional architecture and period features in their communal spaces or guestrooms.

The two are similar. The term "historic hotel" is more common in the U.S., while "heritage hotel" is often used in Asia and Europe. In Oslo, booking a historic hotel doesn't mean you will stay in a place that's uncomfortable for guests or simply rundown.
