"Our family of 6 stayed in a private room with 3 bunkbeds and a bathrooms. It fit our needs great. The shower is very small and tight for an average human. We thought the breakfast buffet was a bit too expensive. We also were surprised they wouldn’t be flexible on letting us check out 1 hour later. They want $30 per half hour. Other than that, they were busy and friendly and people were everywhere. "

"I stayed in a deluxe king room , and it felt very much like a hotel. It was clean, the facilities were clean. It’s right next to a beautiful park. Not very close to the city centre, but taking the tram was fairly easy & it’s close by. The only negatives : check in was at 2pm, and my room wasn’t ready until almost 6pm. Also, if there was daily housekeeping , it was not very apparent they were there. "

"The cube rooms are a little smaller than I anticipated but none the less it was a great stay, comfortable beds and friendly staff. In a very walkable location to most shopping and restaurants, great bar attached to the hostel!"

"Wow this is easily the best hostel I've stayed in on my trip (one month+!). Staff were lovely, showers were brilliant, air con in the rooms!! and breakfast included. Also brilliant location, backs onto the cute canals and close to lots of restaurants and coffeeshops ;) "

"Great location and there’s a really big safe/lock box for each person under the bed - bring your own lock! Everything was super clean too. My only problem was how long the check in process took since there were only two people at the front desk and they worked very slowly"

"This hostel met all of our needs. It is right on the edge of then Red Light District, so quiet a lot of people around, tough to drive to because of the very narrow streets & masses of people. They had a valet service to park our car, but was $45/day. Lots to do and see from this location within 30 min of walking. No elevator in the building, so be prepared to lug your bags up several of flights of stairs. "

"Right next to a gate to Vondelpark — we loved being able to run every morning! Great vegan breakfast with hummus and vegan yogurt for protein; we also loved the seeded dark rye rolls and the herbal tea! Next to all the museums and a lot more quiet than Dam square. Courteous and diverse staff, all super helpful. The room was very clean and practical. We really appreciated the bamboo toilet paper and all the eco friendly features! Five stars! Thank you! :-)"

"You're literally right next to the Reijksmuseum among other attractions. It's a cheap room to pass out in after a day of doing the actual fun stuff. "

"Nice and quiet hotel. Room was nice and clean. Staff were helpful. We were able to check in early. The shower room was very open so it got all wet after one person took a shower. Also, hotel does not offer paper towel and paper tissues in the room. "

"The July is a comfortable, clean, modern hotel in a quiet residential section of town. The hotel restaurant is good. Outside seating options make for a pleasant meal or cocktail. The staff is polite and attentive. Getting to and from the hotel to sights and restaurants is always a taxi or Uber. Nothing is within walking distance. Expect $15 to $20 for each ride by Uber. Taxis are mych more and should be avoided. "
