"We were welcomed by Veda and Bill and felt very comfortable from the start. They were very helpful with suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. We enjoyed meeting other guests from other parts of the country. The room was cozy, the bathroom was modern, and the breakfasts were delicious. We especially liked the availability of water, coffee, and tea in the upstairs hallway."

"After making a decision to leave Ocracoke Island following news that tropical storm Ophilia was forecast to hit the Outer Banks, we decided to leave the island and head inland to try and salvage the remainder of our week-long vacation. We settled on Manteo since we wanted to visit the Christmas Store and take in a few other attractions. Unfortunately, the weather continued to deteriorate so we decided to pack up a second time and leave for home. We were literally in the Cameron House Inn room...

"Everything was good. Stairs are pretty but too much to climb with bad back n knees problems. Would like the first floor to be like the second floor. Kitchen n king size bed instead the bunk bed. It would been good for me n my wife. Enjoyed the stay. "
