The hotel is advertised to include air conditioning. Internet access, wifi, bar fridge. My room had none of these, it also had no TV. Wifi was available in the dining area and my room had a small fan Im lieue of air conditioning. The room has no windows and although the door had glass partitions, I had to either...

"We had a duplex room, plenty of space and had everything we needed. Breakfast overlooking the vines was excellent."

"Good: The rooms were comfortable,clean and the bed (mattress) was good. They needed another sheet on the bed (instead of just a comforter as the top sheet). The breakfast each morning was perfect, many choices, and all great tasting. The Staff were very attentive. Bad: The shower had some type of "black worms" coming up thru the drain. I choose this location because they had internet, however internet went out each night around 10pm. "

"I am a repeat visitor to Pontac. A lovely place to spend time at, especially outside on the stoep. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The rooms are great, wonderful views of the mountains surrounding Paarl. Definite value for money. The only area for improvement would be breakfast, it is okay, but could use some attention."

"There is only one very small sign suspended in a tree giving directions to the farm. No-one answered any of the three numbers available and we were left outside the main gate waiting for about 30 min to be checked in. The man who eventually came to the gate was very unprofessional and grumpy. They were very quick to take their money off my credit card. The venue is not romantic as it is attached to the main house. We could hear all their door slamming and ablutions!!! There is no wine tasting,...
