"My husband and I stayed here for a week while visiting San Diego...and what a great choice! It's a little boutique hotel facing the Pacific Beach, with breathtaking beach-front access! Aside from the views of the beach (the pool and the walkway!), the rooms were beautifully renovated and generously appointed. Thanks to Mason/Concierge, I was able to upgrade our room to beach-front views just days before our stay...and this really made all the difference, as the terrace views were truly picture-perfect. Also, service was first-rate all the way...as each and every staff member was so friendly, gracious and helpful throughout our stay. Truly a little piece of paradise in San Diego!"

"I have stayed at the property many times over the years and love the location. Beds are comfortable and it’s very clean! Staff is super friendly. I’ve stayed at more expensive places on the boardwalk and they were not great. Aside from newer decor the stay was disappointing, because of that I always return to the Beach Cottages! "
