"This was such a perfect place for our family to experience our first time at the Oregon Coast. My two teenage girls both begged us to move in permanently! The condo had everything we could possibly need. The views were unbeatable. We could have stayed the entire time there just staring out the back. Absolutely loved our time there and hope to return again!"

"The view and proximity to the beach was amazing!! The check in and out process was so easy. The host was very quick to respond. I loved that we could bring our dogs on vacation! The house was fairly clean in the most important places (bed, bathrooms). However, the house could definitely use a deep clean. The walls were pretty dirty as well as stains on the carpet downstairs. The property could benefit from having no carpet due to being pet friendly. Overall we had a great time on our family vacation."

"Wonderful place to stay that is close to the ocean, a wildlife refuge with amazing views, and a small town that has a small grocery store and restaurants with delicious food. Pelican Brewery is a must visit also after spending the day climbing the giant sand dune and exploring the tide pools. The house has a small workout room with a cold plunge and hot tub just outside the workout room. We really enjoyed our stay, grilling burgers and ribeyes on the grill and watching movies in the evening. We will be back next year!"

"Great place to stay on a stunning beach with almost no one around! Panoramic views in each direction. Neskowin town just down the road with a cute place to eat and get ice cream and coffee. Dune and Pacific Beach nearby. Great spot to get to multiple hikes and Tillamook. This house is great for families where the kids have multiple places to hang out. There are a few items to be desired such as some chairs to sit and enjoy the view down by the hot tub and few items broken. A little bit dated but overall a good stay!"

The Swell House: Coastal Luxury & Private En-Suites

"Note: Our four-star review is based on having received a 15% discount after documenting numerous problems with the property; without that, it would have gotten three stars at best.That said, our 14-person group had an excellent time at the Swell House. We very much enjoyed the spacious living/dining space, the hot tub, and the comfortable beds. The modern laundry facilities were also a plus. The kitchen and kitchen supplies were adequate, if a bit small for the size of our group. The dishwasher, once we learned how to make it work (push hard in the middle of the door as you close it) handled many full loads without complaint.On the negative side, beware that the photos in the listing are, as another review pointed out, at least ten years old. NOTHING about the house looks anything like as new as is portrayed. Doors to rooms and cabinets are broken, paint is chipping, faucets produce rusty water for a day or two, and at least one toilet takes 30 minutes to refill. The foosball table is unusable. Bathroom fans are noisy and some lightbulbs needed replacing. None of this would have been a big problem had the description of the property been accurate.Most problematic for our group was the fact that none of the bedrooms had adequate curtains. Host Paul *assured* us that they did when we asked ("Swell House is equipped with room darkening shades in the bedrooms," he wrote), so people did not bring their own portable curtains to use, depriving some of good rest."

"The home was clean, easy to access, and well situated. Beach access is convenient for the physically able. There is a large sand dune to climb that will require some physical ability. But the beach was quiet and clean. The home more than meet our needs and was located within an hour or 2 of even our longer daily excursions. We would definitely book it again."
