"We love staying at El Bastión. The place is beautiful, the staff is always helpful and friendly and the breakfast is amazing. We don’t even try to adventure staying at a different hotel. This is always our first choice when visiting Cartagena. "

"Amazing location! Fantastic staff. Delicious breakfasts. Very clean. The only thing you don’t want is a room near the elevator because we were woken up everyday by other guests making noise leaving. Overall excellent though and I highly recommend it."

"Mood Matuna was decent. I can't honestly say anything bad about it at all, the staff themselves we're OUTSTANDING and they are the bread and butter of this location. What makes this only a decent stay is, it does not look like it's pictures at all. The lighting is much more dim, water pressure is very low, there is a very questionable window in the bathroom that if you were to open it, you can crawl to the next room if you fit in there? And one of the things I was looking forward to the most; the pool, was completely dirty, which was a big reason for booking that top floor room. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay for just the night. "
