Quality produce and locally sourced, the portions were very generous and there was lots of choice. It’s in a peaceful location and once you drive out you have the choice to go into Devon or drive further into Cornwall. Highly recommend this little gem of a place, it’s like home from home. "

"Short break over the weekend, nice quiet stay in a small village with restaurants, pub, take away and grocery shopping within walking distance via a slightly steep slope, but in no rush so can take it easy, easy reach with short drives for sightseeing and beaches, nice outside area for sunnier days. Definitely would stay again."

"Cabin was cosy and fun for the kids, there were a lot of spider webs on the underside of the bunk beds which freaked my son out as he hates spiders. Overall it’s a nice quiet and relaxing place for a break. We enjoyed roughing it by cooking on a small stove. The maintenance guys were very helpful for retrieving a shuttlecock we hit on the roof. Would definitely stay again. "
