"This unique and cleverly retrofitted hotel allows for comfort and convenience in the heart of Assisi. The room was clean and in great condition with a bathroom that appeared to be newly renovated. Breakfast was served buffet style with typical meats and cheeses alongside of scrambled eggs and some of the best bacon in Italy. The staff were friendly and helpful every step of the journey. This place will definitely be on my list for future trips with just a short walk to the Basilica of St Francis and the old town square. Parking was arranged but involved a little hike as expected in the old city. Truly a gem and perfect for the single traveler."
