"We stayed here after a long day of travel, plus a major storm of lightning, thunder, strong winds and an advisory saying to get in doors.
We chose this hotel and the room was very large and comfortable to ride out the storm, even though the front desk clerk had no idea there was even a storm.
I would stay here again but I was happy we did not eat breakfast.
We did start to go to breakfast at 8 and there was no food left. The front desk clerk said he was going to make more food. So we decided just to load up our truck and leave elsewhere for food.
I returned to check out and the front desk clerk was placing eggs into the warmer. He was wearing gloves which made it very sanitary.
When I told him we were checking out, he went to the front desk and took off one glove. As I watched him, I noticed he was taking the glove off with the intention of reusing it. Once he got the glove off, he used that hand to work the computer and would touch the other hand that was still gloves so he was already cross contaminated the other glove so he could simply put on the glove he had taken off and go back to working with food using contaminated gloves.
I was very happy we did not eat there. It would have been much easier for him to take those gloves off and put on new ones instead of contaminating them and working with the food for the guest."
