"Ideally situated on the main street in Setubal, close to the attractions like the Fish Market, the baixa (city centre) and the Troia Ferry terminal (and next door to McDonalds if you don't want to try the local food!). Lovely views from the 5th floor breakfast room (with a generous buffet) and comfy clean rooms."

"Very clean , great rain shower and comfortable bed and 4 pillows of good quality for my taste , foam moldable.. adustable and fiber fill. Everything was excellent and the breakfast included was very good, eggs toast , beans , chorizo, fresh fruit and whole wheat/ white breads. Cereal or muesli with Hot milk (in the coffee maker). Honey for tea or coffee. Central location ... near Mcdonalds if you like their food (...not me) "

"Our stay at Moinho do Marco, also known as the windmill, was truly outstanding. A unique location with panoramic views of the ocean and Setabul surrounding areas. Staying in an old windmill, which has been lovingly restored, is a once in a lifetime experience. The host, Guadeloupe, was absolutely fantastic, very accommodating and a wealth of information about the Setabul area. We give everything about our stay a five star rating!!!!"

"This was an absolutely beautiful property with the surrounding area that is tranquil and lovely. We took a walk around the property and enjoyed the wine grapes growing and amazing trees surrounding the property. Our only complaint would be the bed was a bit firm for us but we loved everything else including our dinner on the property."

"The property is in an elevated location just outside the town, with beautiful views over the sea and Sétubal. It's in walking distance of shops, restaurants, and beaches but I would strongly recommend a car as the hill is quite steep. There's plenty of parking space. We were a group of 5 brothers and sisters with spouses. Comfortable beds and en suite bathrooms in every bedroom was a big plus. The property is gated and offers good security. It's in close proximity to hiking trails and superb beaches. On the negative side: We would have liked to have known in advance that you have to put toilet paper into bins and not the toilet. The company that manages the property has much room for improvement - 2 days before leaving for Portugal I had to ring VRBO to get information on how to check in. I also had to ring the company to find out what they wanted us to do at check out - keys etc. The kitchen felt small when catering for a large group. A number of the remote controls ( air con and tv ) were not working due to flat batteries. Lights in two of the bathrooms ( that didn't have windows) were flickering - when changed they worked perfectly. There was smell of drains or sewage in the kitchen area - it varied in strength. One of entrance gate remote's battery ran out stranding us outside the property. All in all we enjoyed the stay but..."
