"We really enjoyed staying at the Lighthouse Inn. It has lots of cute characters. I was traveling with my elderly parents, and they loved it. Our room was easy to get to and parking was convenient. It was also so reasonably priced and had two bedrooms, one with 2 queen beds and the other was a king sized bed. The room and property were very clean. The decor was a bit outdated, but I'd take clean and pleasant any day if I can't have it all. The staff was easily seen working hard to keep everything up to par. (I think being so close to the ocean adds extra complexities with the salt water.) The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a bit simpler than most, but still good. The location was very convenient. We would definitely come back here the next time were in the area."

"This is a beautiful property. Great for large groups as there are 5 en-suite bedrooms. It is very clean, and the kitchen is well stocked. The location and view are amazing! A minor maintenance issue was quickly resolved. So what stopped it from being 5 stars? The towels, TP, and paper towels are all ridiculously thin, which feels cheap. There were no extra paper products or garbage bags so we had to buy our own. The kitchen sink is dripping. There were no coffee filters. The listing says it has a washer and dryer, but it is in an unattached garage and is used by the cleaning service. So most of the time it is unavailable. All that being said, our group agreed that we would stay here again. A few simple changes would make this truly 5 stars."

"We stayed at the Curly Redwood Lodge in September 2026. We were traveling from the Mendocino area to Portland and only needed a room for one night. The Curly Redwood Lodge is right across the highway from the harbor. It is clean and comfortable, although the furnishings and carpet are dated. There are multiple restaurants within walking distance. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. No king size beds...only queens."
