"Arrived unable to access apartment due to construction going on which we were unaware of. The area in front of the access door was completely blocked by contractors vehicles with wire fence and orange tape. After making enquires it was ascertained this was the access to apartment, on entering with our bags we had to make our way through dust construction debris and 8-10 workman carrying bucket loads of construction material which they were emptying on their truck parked outside the apartment...

"sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge mit dem Auto in alle Richtungen (Ljubliana, Bleder See, Piran, Kooper usw...) in ca. 5 Minuten ist man auf der Schnellstraße. Unterkunft ist modern eingerichtet und liegt in ländlich geprägter Gegend. Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeiten befinden sich in Ajdovscina (ca. 10 Minuten). Kommunikation mit Vermieter ist mit Englisch gut möglich. Gastgeberfamilie ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. "

"We enjoyed our stay at Marco's flat. Marco was very accommodating and welcoming. The flat is in a quiet area about a quarter of an hours walk from the centre of Grado. There are bikes available and it is extremely easy to cycle around the area. There is also a no. 37 bus which goes every half hour into Grado. Tickets can be bought from the local bar. Nach Betreten der Wohnung geht es über eine verschränkte Treppe noch eine Etage höher. Hier befinden sich Kochzeile, Eßtisch und Wohnzimmer. Von ihm geht ein Flur ab, an dem ein Zimmer mit Etagenbett und Doppelbett sowie ein weiteres Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett liegt. "We had a hard time finding the place (not the owner’s issue). It was clean and very close to anything we needed. The owner was excellent about responding to my questions. "

Food gifts were left for us ( regional breads and beer) apart from the well stocked larder for our use in the kitchen. I could communicate with them through WhatsApp, so any information etc I needed was quickly given. They offered to take us on a tour of the town and even took us out to the Castle Miramare. "Het appartement is mooi en ruim en heeft zowel binnen als buiten een prachtige entourage. Enkel de keuken viel wat tegen. Zij is klein en eigenlijk niet zo geschikt om dagelijks uitgebreid te koken."

Clean and very quiet place, although there is construction activity during the day, as they appear to be renovating the building. Eateries close by. Very easy negotiations and communications with the owner, lots of privacy throughout. "
