"Very friendly welcome from the whole family. The bungalow had everything we needed, with enough room for our daughter to stay with us for a few days. Weather was gorgeous, which made the pool very welcome. Very peacefull spot, the local town. Had a supermarket, bar gelateria and pizzeria, Lucca was 5 miles away, and Pisa about 20.....both well worth a visit. Overall a relaxing, stress free break. "

"This stay was idyllic and everything that was promised. Privacy, serenity and beautiful surroundings. Loads to do in the area and off the beaten track enough to have a sanctuary from tourism. Susan was the hostess with the mostess. Always there for suggestions, but never intruding. Her family are quintessential Italian and we loved hearing her grandchildren calling each other across the garden, hearing the neigh of the horses and next doors donkey in the distance. "This was, without a doubt, one of the highlights of our Italian holiday. It's like being transported back to ancient times - a truly authentic experience. The apartment was clean, cool and so peaceful and the pool was a welcome treat in the summer heat. Our host was fabulous - sharing local insights and travel tips and even givung us a private cooking class on the rooftop of the apartment. We would love to return to explore the area - 2 days was not nearly enough. "
