"Very handy hotel within easy (3min) walking distance of Pisa airport. Rooms are basic but very clean and great for an overnight stay if you have an early flight to catch. We arrived the day before our flight so we're able to leave our bags and spend the day in Pisa (10 mins. from the hotel using the Pisa Mover train at the airport (buy a return ticket - it's slightly cheaper). "

"It was a cute place. They apparently have breakfast but couldn't find it in the morning. It may be at the residence next door. When you arrive, there is a bell by the outside gate to push and the owner will come over. I booked a room with 2 beds as it was me and my teenage daughter. the owner said we could only sleep on the one unless we paid an additional $10 EU."

"This is a pretty good place to stay at. It’s all on one floor but keep in mind it’s up two flights of stairs. On the site it does say that there is no elevator but it doesn’t state clearly that it’s on the second floor. The bathroom was super clean however the floors could use some work there was lots of dirt no carpet. Would stay again if I bring someone to take my suit case up the stairs. The owner was very nice and checks on you throughout your stay. "

"The property is in walking distance to the airport. We received clear messages from the owner how to access the building and the the room itself. It is very basic but clean, enough for a few days for a stopover. For being close to the airport it is noisy but we were tired so didn’t wake up at night. "

"Prior to our arrival to the B&B we were not informed how to get check-in. Luckily we found a key in the front and then we began the climb up the stairs to the correct floor. "Fantastic location, relaxed hotel though check in was complicated. Facilities to prepare your own breakfast. Good value for money. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely restaurant next door and very close to a grocery store. "

"The property was easy to access and great for one night however the bathroom was terrible and there was quite a bit of noise from the road. The bathroom has a window into the bedroom without any curtains or blinds so you have no privacy when using the toilet and the bath has a high pressure shower head that would be great if there was anything to stop it from splashing all over the room as you try to use it. For one night to see the tower it is an ok place to stay but I wouldn't want to stay...

"This is a lovely, clean place to stay just a few minutes walk from Pisa airport. There was tea and coffee and snacks for us to help ourselves and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable."

"Overall very clean newly refurbished rooms, unfortunately there is only one bathroom / shower area to be shared by all guests. Potentially you could have eight to ten people accessing the bathroom facilities. There appears to be four different rooms on the floor. "The hotel is in the centre of Luca and within walking distance of anything you could want within the walled city. I felt safe as a solo female traveller and was comforted by the rooms' security. Breakfast was outstanding, the staff was friendly and helpful, the beds were comfortable, and the showers had great pressure with lots of hot water. "Villa Alta provides beautiful history and art-intense setting, wonderful atmosphere and comfortable conditions for memorable romantic, family or individual stay and events. It is located very close to the cities of Lucca and Pisa, surrounded by the very well-designed and kept Mediterranean garden with the clean and beautiful pool aria. "Es war wunderschön abgelegen, ca. 15 Minuten mit dem Auto bis nach Pescia. Ein wunderschönes kleines Bergdorf eine traumhafte Aussicht und einfach soooo viel Natur. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber lief reibungslos (auf italienisch) und er war sehr freundlich. Der Garten war an einer Seite durch eine Hecke umzäunt, da wäre mir ein richtiger Zaun lieber gewesen. Mein kleiner Hund ist einmal sehr übermütig durch die Hecke durch und dahinter die ca. 2-3 Meter hohe Mauer hinunter...

"Das Haus liegt wunderschön und idyllisch. Der Blick in alle Richtungen ist super. Die Vermieterin sprach sehr gut Englisch, war sehr freundlich und hat uns exzellente Tipps gegeben, was man in der Umgebung unternehmen kann."
