"Stayed at the Belvedere for 2 nights while visiting Lago Maggiore. The hotel is facing the lake and we had a beautiful lake view room. It is also soooo conveniently located right across from where the ferry takes you to the various islands. My Italian cousin was impressed with my choice. The hotel breakfast was excellent and lots of restaurants nearby. Highly recommend!"

From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in warmth, charm, and old-world elegance that made our stay unforgettable. At the bar, Domenico and Marco were shining stars. Their hospitality made every visit special, and their mixed beverages were expertly crafted and consistently delicious. Whether we were winding down after a day of adventure or enjoying a pre-dinner cocktail, Domenico and Marco made sure everything was perfect. We left with two new friends. One of the true highlights was the spa experience with Lisa, whose lymphatic drainage massage was absolutely wonderful. She is incredibly skilled, attentive, and made me feel completely relaxed and rejuvenated. It was truly one of the best spa treatments I’ve ever had. We were also lucky enough to plan a rehearsal dinner and Welcome drink experience with Chiara. She went above and beyond to make sure we knew all of our options and plans for our wedding celebration coming up. Her attention to detail, warmth, and thoughtful hospitality made everyone feel welcome and at ease. She’s truly a gem. The grounds of the hotel are stunning, with sweeping views of Lake Varese and an atmosphere that feels both tranquil and grand. Every staff member we encountered was gracious and professional, and the service throughout was top-notch. We can’t wait to return for our wedding celebrations. "We had a wonderful 3-night stay at this charming hotel. The lakeside position is fantastic - it’s definitely worth paying more to get a lake view room. The room was quiet & clean with a comfortable bed and good linen - I think a proper feather duvet. We had a small balcony which was good for reading. The roof-top bar served pizza and light meals. We dined in the smart restaurant one evening - expensive but a lovely treat. The staff were very polite and friendly. Parking free in the hotel car park. The pool was closed for our visit (mid-May) but there were convenient steps down into the lake for some invigorating swims. I highly recommend this hotel. "
