"My husband and I had a great time in this apartment, located within a short walking distance to the train station, in the center of the classic Bavarian town of Fussen. The property is a creatively whimsical, decent sized studio that was just perfect for the two of us. "Beautiful location right by the lake. The apartment is tastefully furnished with great amenities, and the host’s communication was excellent. Plenty of fantastic food options nearby as well. The only minor downside was the kitchen lighting (a bit dim) and the number of unused light switches, which made it tricky to figure out which ones actually worked."

"Enjoyed our stay in this top floor apartment. Nice balcony and view, full kitchen, clean recent reno bathroom. Primary bedroom was nice but second bed is behind a short wall in the living area, so not private. Communication with manager could have been more consistent, with no message leading up to the rental with check in details, that is pretty standard. As well, instructions were to call a number of a local person an hour out which was a bit of a struggle in English but worked out ok. Note as...

"Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön. Die Wohnung und Gastfreundschaft ebenfalls. Warum ich einen Stern weniger vergeben hab, ist die fehlende Möglichkeit draußen zu sitzen. Bei schönem Wetter würde man gerne abends bei Kerzenschein und einem Glas Wein den Abend ausklingen lassen. Die Wohnung rosenrot verfügt über keine Terrasse oder Balkon. Deswegen würde ich beim nächsten Mal eine der anderen Wohnungen mieten. Ich bin bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal dort gewesen."

"The apartment has everything you need for a short stay. Loved the balcony which has great views, and it's right at the foot of a mountain with trails to a waterfall. It's about 10 minutes' walk from centre of town where you can get buses and trains to nearby towns - free transport with visitor card supplied by host. There is also an excellent Italian restaurant in the same building! Would recommend."

"Pros: Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub im Wendlarhof. Wir wurden sehr herzlich von dem Gastgeber, Familie Gehring empfangen. Die Ferienwohnung war sehr geräumig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Jeden Morgen wurden wir mit frischen Brötchen versorgt. Trotz drei Tage Regenwetter konnten wir sehr viel unternehmen. Es gibt sehr viele Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung, die es lohnt sich anzuschauen. Noch mal vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit bei euch von Familie Bosse aus Bad Salzungen."
