"Our first room was awful. We booked a cheap economy room and whilst it was large and full of character, it was awful. The plug sockets didn’t work, and the staff’s solution was to supply a huge extension lead which had to extend around the whole room, to allow us one socket to charge our phones etc by our beds at night. The bed was very uncomfortable and, being on the 1st floor at the front of the hotel, we were awoken very early with numerous delivery vans and their drivers shouting. I complained and they upgraded us to an amazing family room, recently refurbished and very comfortable and higher up with no disturbance. The concierge staff could not have been more helpful. Breakfast choice is huge and very good."

"Thought it was a good location. However, amenities like a clothing iron were not available for the rooms. If you needed one you would to go to a different building to use a public iron which was so dirty they damaged my shirt. There was no working A/C in the room on the last night there offered us a fan. Breakfast was a bit on the expensive side with not a lot of options very basic. Room was clean however there was a trash can outside our door which was not cleaned had the same garage for out entire stay."

"Loved this hotel! Great, quiet location and practically has its own private plaza. Beautiful, large rooms, excellent breakfast, nice staff, easy walk to a multitude of restaurants and all the tourist sites. The hotel is also and easywalking distance to the train station.The hotel has a full service coffee/snack/breakfast/lunch/mini meal/bar at the front of the hotel with plenty of tables to sit outside and have a snack or a drink/coffee. It’s a great place to sit at the end of the day to just chill out and relax prior to going upstairs and getting ready for evening activities. Staff is friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again."

"The room was nice and clean. Bathroom smaller but that is common for Florence hotels. Walking distance from train station churches and museums. Breakfast was very good nice variety. I would highly recommend"

"Very good communication pre visit and during our stay to check everything was ok. Swift and easy check in with friendly staff, although could have been clearer that the tourist tax was a pre-authorisation only and would be taken at check-out. Added some confusion at check-out and unfortunately I overhead staff laughing at my concern that we had already paid. Nice room, clean, fresh and well maintained. Bed was very comfy and I made use of the additional pillow menu as prefer a soft pillow. Nice bar area and outside garden setting area, however outside chairs were a bit uncomfortable to stay for long. Suitable breakfast to fuel up for the day of sightseeing ahead. Good location, close enough to the train station, which meant we could walk there on our arrival. Also close to the river for a stroll down to the Ponte Vecchio, but quieter location in the evening so not kept awake by bars and tourists."

"Very difficult to get to and park when you’re not Italian and are in a rental car. Otherwise, this was very clean with great proximity to the train station where we needed to be the next morning."

"Probably one of the best locations possible. Right across the street from the train station, just a 7 minute walk. Tons of restaurants and bars in the Square itself and walkable into the main Square where the cathedral and other major site attractions are(within 5min). Shopping is all around, people are nice and friendly, amenities were great, breakfast was included every day. I’d stay here again given the choice. "
