"We really enjoyed our stay at Fengari. I believe it took us about an hour and a half from the airport. The Drive is windy and very beautiful with lots of flowers and birds on a country road. Our primary reason for visiting was Birding. I was able to photograph, 20 new birds, and heard, and saw many more than that. We enjoyed using the pool spa. The view is absolutely amazing. I’ve traveled all over the world, five countries in the last 12 months. I have to say that this hotel had the best customer service I’ve ever seen. I was treated like a king as a regular traveler. I never leave reviews but I want the next traveler to Quito to find this gem.

I somehow thought this would be closer to the airport, but it was about a 30 minute drive. Nevertheless, Llalo was very clean, safe, professionally operated and the breakfast on the porch was ideal. The rates were appropriate for the lodging. I highly recommend it.

LOVED OUR STAY HERE!
Very clean, neat, & the staff was absolutely fantastic!! Food was great! Oh the saunas were so so so relaxing.
The only reason I checked off the area outside of the property being unsafe is that Ecuador was under marshall law so we did not feel safe outside the hotel. BUT WE FELT TOTALLY SAFE & COMFORTABLE INSIDE!!!
Did I mention how friendly the staff were!!!!!

I was very impressed with both the people and the facilities. I traveled alone to a place that was completely strange to me. I never felt alone. Everyday at breakfast (very tasty) the staff made sure that my plan for the day would work. They had a sincere interest in my well being and my experience in Ecuador. I would whole heartedly recommend this hotel. They made my trip wonderful.

Exceptional hotel located centrally in Quito! The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and kind. The house is beautiful. Breakfast was delicious. The bedding was top notch, I didn’t want to wake up! But the best part which I will miss throughout the rest of my travels was getting a massage on site each day from Darwin. How nice to have a 90 minute massage after a day of exploring. Don’t skip booking a massage!

Our experience were perfect in some many ways, the employes were very warm and helpful with the reservations for the local attractions, the entertainment living room in the hotel with the games and the karaoke let us enjoy in a safety way, the room was excelent and very confortable, the absence of tv wasnt necessary, I will absolutely return there and recommend them.
My only sugestion is to put a fan inside de room.

What a lovely property. Very historic and the plants and wall paintings give it a welcoming touch. Excellent friendly service, especially from Daniel. Breakfast was also very decent. Very good location in historical center, but the only drawback is that the hotel is on a street that has a lot of noisy bars. Best to request the very quiet rooms in the back. Otherwise a perfect stay.

I particularly enjoyed the walking tour with Santiago, who was very thorough with his explanations and showed us the best of Quito’s beautiful historical town! Even though I was traveling solo, I never felt alone because of the staff. I would definitely recommend this place to any travellers looking for a more personal and traditional trip in Quito!
