"Charming hotel in a beautiful setting. The room was large and clean. We really enjoyed staying here especially after our time in the more crowded areas near the beaches. "

"Rooms are spacious and clean, service throughout our stay was excellent. Great breakfast - lots of choice and all very fresh.
We always enjoy our stay here, this time we had a bit more time to enjoy the pool and pool bar - really lovely facility and very relaxing. "

"We absolutely loved everything about our stay. The location is stunning, with breathtaking views, fruit trees in the garden, and a beautiful pool. The house is full of charm, and we felt like we could have spent an entire week there without ever needing to leave. We truly enjoyed every moment and would love to come back if we get the chance. The hosts were extraordinary, and communication was A."

"Spent a week at Villa Pascal and had a lovely relaxing time. The villa was clean and well appointed. The TV channels were mainly in French and German so take a laptop with VPN to connect if you want to watch more English channels other than Sky or Bloomberg news. Set above Monchique in the hills, the villa offers peace and quiet with just the sound of the trees rustling in the wind most of the time. Hardly heard the neighbouring property at all. Only one restaurant within walking distance but plenty more within 5-10mins drive. All in all, I'd definately recommend this villa if you want privacy and quiet. Not suitable for folk with mobility issues though."

Casa Sofia - 2 bedroom apartment in quiet street in picturesque rural Monchique

"We loved our stay here. Our family of 5 visited in the heat of August and made great use of the local pool and some smaller ones in surrounding villages. We loved wandering through the old passages and stairways, the town is just so full of character!
Air conditioning was a godsend on a couple of hot evenings, the beds are comfortable and we all slept really well (although the endless barking of a neighbour's dog was a little irritating ).
The kitchen is small and cleverly laid out with a lot stored high and accessed by steps. A cheese grater would have been welcome and pot pourri in the salad bowl was pretty but meant we couldn't actually use it.
The kids were thrilled to have TV with Disney channel!
There is a laundromat at Intermarché.
We would have loved some guidance on waste segregation - we separated our recycling and left it, hoping for the best, but after having checked out I spotted municipal recycling, and even community compost (near the pool, actually!) which we would have gladly used.
In all, I can imagine Casa Sofia would be a great place to visit anytime of year and I hope we can visit again some day."

La résidence à tous les commodités nécessaires et située dans un endroit calme et paisible. La résidence est situé entre 30 min et 1h de tous les attraits à visiter au Algarve.Notre séjour a été merveilleux et nous recommandons grandement cette résidence pour un voyage en famille ou entre amis."

"The Stone House, lovingly owned by Mark and Sharon was a step back in time. The stone structure, while I suspect it was built many years ago still had all of the modern conveniences you would want.This well appointed home was set in the mountains and we were able to step out of modern chaos and truly relax. The gardens, the pool and the outdoor patio set the stage for a lovely glass of vhino verde and great conversation.Thank you Mark and Sharon for sharing your well-loved home with us! We will be back again if possible. "
