"Property was okay, nice room. We were there for 3 days, and not once did we have housekeeping come in to get dirty towels, etc., or check to make sure we had coffee for the coffee maker, clean cups, or anything else that is "normally" done when a room is rented. I don't care that the beds weren't made, much less clean bedding, but the little amenities weren't even done that you would have expected at a motel. I surely would not recommend the Joplin Inn to anyone, because of the aforementioned...

"We had a great stay at Diamonds Old West! The property is so well maintained and staff was very helpful and friendly. It’s a great space for kids to run and play- w lots of options for them! It’s also quiet and peaceful for couples. The fire pit/grill was perfect for our dinner plans."

"We have been coming to Caddo for years and this cabin quickly became our favorite! Plenty of room for our family and the river was only steps away. The hot tub was great since we had a ‘ cool snap’ in July. Hope to rent again next year!"

"A very quaint and cozy cabin in the woods. Everything was clean and well-organized. We really like the proximity to the river. If we had stayed longer, we would have enjoyed the fire pit. The owner was super responsive to messages and accommodating. We are happy to have stayed in such a nice, relaxing environment and we'd happily stay here again!"

"We enjoyed our stay at River Oaks. The house was perfect for our two families with 7 kids ages 19-5. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. The pool table was a huge hit. The only downside was that the weather didn’t cooperate at all. Historical rainfall meant the river was not swimmable while we were there. Also, we were on a river in summertime so the bugs loved the area as well. I highly recommend taking advantage of the screened in porch in the evenings. It’s a great amenity and is really well built. In spite of the weather, we still had a great time. We explored Murfreesboro and Nashville and even took a rafting trip down the Caddo River. This house was a great home base for exploring the area. It was quiet and secluded and great for family time. Finally, I’m a beginner birder and I thoroughly enjoyed birding from the front porch and even taking evening walks down the gravel road. I saw indigo buntings, eastern king birds, summer tanagers, great Egrets, a great blue heron, prothonotary warblers, just to name a few. Terrie was an excellent host and extremely helpful."

"Rented this house for the weekend to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. Went to Glenwood to float the river which is about a 30 min drive. The house is very spacious and clean. Accommodated our group of 8 perfectly. Lots of room inside and out. The big back porch has lots of seating and there is also a deck area with great views of river. Took a drive down to the dam area and Lake Greeson. Will definitely book again!"
