"The room itself was lovely and clean with a beautiful view and a balcony on which to enjoy it! However, the bathroom let the room down, it was mouldy in places and generally smelled damp - it simply needs a good bleach and scrub! "The manager, Sam, runs a truly excellent accommodation!! My two days spent in Kintamani were one of the highlights of my time in Bali. Super friendly vibes in the reception area, always people hanging out, was great for me as a solo traveler, and no issues with noise when it came time to sleep. From the minute we arrived to a lovely welcome and tour of the beautiful hotel and facilities to the moment we left two weeks later it’s been outstanding in every way. Our Butler Valley Pool Villa was amazing with its own pool sitting amongst the jungle with the river running in the background was kept spotlessly clean by the housekeeping team morning and night, they were all so friendly helpful and unobtrusive The whole hotel staff knew our names and made us feel part of a family nothing was ever too much trouble Vanara restaurant which we frequented for both breakfast and evening meals served delicious and authentic foods offering a variety of Indonesian asian and western foods, the service from the restaurant team was again second to none and attentive The spa set above the river is so serene and relaxing and provides amazing treatments to suit everyone The bars serve drinks using well known international brands and we have also discovered some lovely Bali made wines which we will be trying to source upon our return home then the UK The way the hotel has been designed and built within the natural habitat is very sympathetic and is simply beautiful despite the obvious challenge to maintain the site is kept spotlessly clean and presented immaculately We will definitely be returning to our little piece of heaven on earth"
