"I am from the central CT area originally and typically need a multi-bedroom spot for my wife and toddler son. There isn’t much as far as choices in the area, but this place was great. It’s quiet, clean and cozy. Chris and his wife are great communicators and hosts - they met us to show us around and answer shy questions, and then let us enjoy our stay. The property is beautiful and in a great location. Chris was also nice enough to introduce us to his sheep, donkey and chickens in the morning,...

"Great location - we walked to Litchfield Center and to all the shops and restaurants. The house was nice. Would have loved a few extra blankets as it was unusually cold the weekend of our visit. But it was comfortable and the owner was responsive to all questions and texts. I would recommend this house. "

"The staff was welcoming and friendly. The clerk noticed that I had booked a handicap room, which I was unaware of, and upgraded me to a regular room without a problem. This location is excellent as it is right off the interstate, and easy access to shops nearby."
