"We loved the property it was located within walking distance to the Caleta beach, and easy access to main roads and shopping. The hospitality of the locals in the township of La Romana exceeded our expectations. The host was always available with answers and suggestions on where to eat and go very helpful kudos to you Alejandro for a job well done! The only thing negative for me was the stairs up and down gets tiresome when carrying luggage and groceries all the positive compensates for that. Hope to come back soon! 👍"

"This is a great place to stay!! Wendy did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. We felt right at home! The only side note I would make is the pool is up the street at the restaurant. It is a very nice setting but the picture is slightly misleading."

"Playa Catalina Hotel really surprised me in the best way. It gives you that Punta Cana vibe but in a more local, peaceful area. The beach is just a 5‑minute walk, and having a pool available 24/7 was perfect. The rooms look like little villas — super cute and cozy. What made the stay unforgettable was the staff. I traveled with my elderly dad, and they treated him with so much care. They helped him with his bags, supported him on the stairs, and always checked in on us. Even the security team was friendly and helpful. Everyone there makes you feel like family. I’m so grateful for this experience and will surely make this my go-to hotel in the future. For travelers they only accept cash, so be prepared or call ahead. They have an ATM and can accommodate. They also serve breakfast too, would recommend if you like to have a light breakfast. If not there’s plenty of local restaurants nearby."

"Had an excellent one night stay. Nice view of ocean and Catalina Island. Frank is a very good host and always attentive. Nice clean room with everything you need for your comfort. We enjoyed every minute of our stay with great conversations of life experiences with Frank. Would definitely stay again and enjoy a good wine next time. thank you Frank."

"Place is clean and I didn't have any issues exactly like the pics! It's close to everything by walk the beach is 5 min away & to a lot of places to eat as well. Great emplacement. It was very easy to communicate with the host. He was quick to respond and very accommodating. Will definitely be back and would recommend to family and friends! "
