"Although the shower was awkward because it wasn't enclosed and water got everywhere and there was no where to put your items in the shower like skincare etc...the rest of the hotel and staff were amazing. At least people spoke English and the pool area was always warm and open late. The staff was the best part of the stay. Consistent and friendly service and they always went out if their way. The restaurant was amazing too!!"

"We stayed at Malva’s house with my husband and our 5-year-old son, and we really enjoyed our stay!The house was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed to cook and feel at home. The swimming pool was lovely, and the gated community felt safe, secure, and peaceful. The location is also great, about a 7-minute walk to the beach and 10–12 minutes to the Malecón.We had a small issue with the water pump during our stay, but as soon as I contacted Malva, she took care of it, and everything was fixed within a couple of hours. She was very proactive and responsive, which we really appreciated.The self-check-in and check-out made everything super easy and convenient. Another HUGE plus was the water heater! Hot water isn’t always a given in La Romana, so being able to enjoy hot showers and even wash dishes with hot water was definitely appreciated!Overall, we had a wonderful experience, felt right at home, and would absolutely stay here again. Thank you, Malva, for everything! "

"We loved the property it was located within walking distance to the Caleta beach, and easy access to main roads and shopping. The hospitality of the locals in the township of La Romana exceeded our expectations. The host was always available with answers and suggestions on where to eat and go very helpful kudos to you Alejandro for a job well done! The only thing negative for me was the stairs up and down gets tiresome when carrying luggage and groceries all the positive compensates for that. Hope to come back soon! 👍"
