"The property owner was very unresponsive. It was missing a few important amenities, which we then purchased under our own cost. Although the owner promised that we will be reimbursed for the cost, no actual reimbursement was given. There were water leakage in multiple spot which the owner failed to provide any solutions on. "The resort was great, the beach was beautiful and the food was fine. If you can't find something to eat that you like, then you are too picky. I didn't like everything that they served, but I never went hungry! My only complaint is that there are no shade structures on the beach, only palm trees. Not enough palm trees for everyone."

"We enjoyed our stayed at Iberostar this summer. This is a smaller hotel and is very walkable. We booked a premium room with a king-size bed on the second floor. The hotel is arranged in a chain of bungalows so there’s not one hallway connecting all the rooms. This was nice. Each room had a balcony and the hammock. The hotel staff was very helpful and very friendly. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. They were easy to accessible and available. We liked the food very much. The buffet selection was always fresh with themed nights. We tried the Mexican restaurant on site and it was very good. The Asian restaurant was less impressive but not bad. My only suggestion would be to improve the decor of the rooms as it was rather minimalistic, lacking Caribbean charm. Also, the water at the beach was hard to get into and it was not clear. However, the beach was quite nice. This hotel is popular with scuba divers as it has its own pier with boats coming in and out all day long. A snorkelling tour offered by the hotel was amazing. Overall, a very pleasant stay."

"The room was spotless upon arrival, and the housekeeping team refreshed our towels daily. Every staff member we interacted with was welcoming, especially the waiters from Coral restaurant Joni Miguel, Miguel jefe de bares, Sergio, Luis. who provided us an excellent service, super friendly and responsive. The buffet overall has an amazing delicious options and hot dishes like made-to-order eggs. It gets busy around 9 AM, so go early to beat the crowd. The colonial style is beautiful throughout the resort with beautiful scenery, vegetation and views. We thoroughly enjoyed very much our stay and planning to come back in the near future."
