"For me it was a good option to stay near NYC without breaking the bank. It is exactly as depicted on this page, 3 bdrm 2 baths and a living room with a nice sized couch, also we found a air mattress in one of the rooms so that's a plus. We had plenty of space for 7 guests. We were only 25 min from the city, Christian did a great job communicating and the check in process was easy. That being said I had an issue with 2 things. Number one when I booked this place, I was very keen on the no smoking...

"The lake was absolutely beautiful. The house had a beautiful view and was quite comfortable. We were in to visit my brother and this house was exactly what we needed. But do know, there are a lot of stairs involved with this home. So please keep that in mind."

"Although the original check-in process was fine, the host became unresponsive to our questions during the stay. We were able to figure out the answers to our questions, but it would have been nice to hear anything at all. We went so far as to text the host because we became concerned after radio silence for 3 days. Once she did respond she didn't apologize for not getting back to us and ghosting us for days. "
