"Well situated in Funchal. We found it a straightforward walk into the city centre and near to the airport bus stop. Friendly and helpful staff. Small swimming pool on roof which helped cooling off after our levada walks. "

The rooms from 24 up are on the upper hill and are closer to the pool and have astonishing views, either over the ocean and Porto Santo, or over Santana, with mountain and ocean. Hard to decide. The food at restaurant is better than many Funchal ones. The only draw back is the fact that the add stated they have microwave, coockware, and dishes, but they had in the room only a kettle. Positioned about 2 km from old town center but there are plenty of shops, restaurants etc. nearby. The Lido swimming pool complex is about 5 minutes walk away. The apartment is cleaned once a week, this should be done minimum twice a week, since you get only 5 towels when arrive, and there is no place to dry your wet...
