"It was a nice place to stay within our budget! Judite was great and everything was clean, worked, and felt safe. Judite even accommodated out late arrival - 12:15 am! On the other side, we were aware there was no air conditioning but the apartment often got quite hot and muggy. While the parking was an excellent accommodation, it was quite a tight fit after a precarious drive uphill. All things considered, would absolutely book again!"

"Beautiful place, feels high-end for a very good price. Lovely breakfast and uninterrupted sea views. Rooms are modern, nicely furnished and very clean. Slightly out of the way so a car is essential, and like most of Madeira it’s on a hillside so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. "What an awesome stay! The place is nestled in the mountains a few km above Sao Vicente. You’ll need wheels! It is a typical village surrounded by locals - not a tourist in site. The perfect getaway! "This apartment is in an ideal location to enjoy all the splendor that Madeira has to offer. Just a few minutes walk from the center of Funchal. We hired a motorbike and parking outside was not a problem. Kitchen was very well equipped, so easy to prepare all the delicious fresh produce from the market and enjoy from the balcony overlooking the port."

Dat was erg jammer! Wel theedoeken en keukendoeken gemist. En nieuwe vuiliszakken die passen. Verder niets aan te merken!"

"I loved my stay at Casa Caramelo. Irina was such a warm and welcoming host, with lots of great tips for exploring Madeira. The flat was perfect, with everything I needed for my stay. It was lovely to have access to the courtyard area, which had plenty of sun and shade if needed and it great fun to play with Enola, Irina's beautiful German Shepherd dog. I would very much like to come and stay again oned day, thank you Irina!"

"Quiet tidy accomodation. Away from other holiday makers. Jhonny local caretaker friendly and offered help but none was needed. Thomas gave good directions as we arrived in early evening and it was dark but no difficulty finding the villa. Friendly bar just a couple of minutes up the road walking for cold beer and cooked us a pizza despite being after 9pm."

"I had the flight to Madeira canceled due to the heavy rains, I contacted the owner, he said he would cancel the reservation to give me a refund, but he was lying, a week passed, I kept trying to contact him and he blocked me. I do not recommend!"

"Our group of 14 thoroughly enjoyed our 7-day stay at the Cliffside Villa. The house is located on a quiet cul de sac just outside of the precious town of Ponto Do Sol. The house is spacious and easily accommodates a large group. The view of the sea from the pool and balconies is incredible. Communication with Carlos/Caty was quick and easy. Our host had delicious snacks and beverages upon our arrival which was such a nice gesture! Thanks so much for having us. We hope to come back to Madeira!"
