"Einfach wunderbar!Wir hatten einen rundum wunderschönen Urlaub!Das Ferienhaus hat unsere Erwartungen sogar übertroffen. Es ist sehr gepflegt, großzügig geschnitten und bietet jede Menge Platz. Der wunderschöne Garten rundet das Gesamtbild perfekt ab und lädt zum Entspannen ein.Das absolute Highlight unseres Aufenthalts war der riesige Pool. Er war das Herzstück der Unterkunft und hat uns jeden Tag aufs Neue begeistert.Besonders hervorheben möchten wir auch die herzlichen Vermieter. Paolo und Gabriele sind unglaublich freundliche und warmherzige Menschen. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen und bestens aufgehoben gefühlt.Der Ort selbst ist klein, idyllisch und angenehm wenig touristisch – genau das hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Trotzdem gibt es in der näheren Umgebung sehr gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sowie hervorragende Restaurants.Aufgrund der etwas abgelegenen Lage ist ein Auto allerdings empfehlenswert.Die landschaftliche Umgebung ist traumhaft und bietet zahlreiche schöne Ausflugsziele. Auch die nahegelegene Stadt Lucca ist absolut einen Besuch wert und hat uns mit ihrem Charme begeistert.Wir blicken auf einen rundum traumhaften Urlaub zurück und werden ganz bestimmt wiederkommen.Vielen Dank an Paolo und Gabriele für die unvergessliche Zeit!Liebe GrüßeDennis, Julia und Lina"

"Wir durften einen wunderschönen Urlaub in Laura‘s Haus verbringen. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und wir waren sofort begeistert von dem schönen alten Steinhaus mit der tollen Aussicht und dem schönen Pool, den wir auch ausgiebig genutzt haben. Wir haben Ausflüge nach Lucca, Pisa, Viareggio, La Spezia, Lerici und Florenz gemacht. Ist mitunter etwas weiter zu fahren, lohnt sich aber. Alles in allem haben wir uns super erholt und waren mit Sicherheit nicht das letzte Mal dort!"

"Fantastic accomodation and hosts.For the first time in over 30 years of renting holiday accommodation we want to give more than 5 stars! Guiseppe and Cinzia were amazing hosts. They collected us from the roadside when our hired car had to be towed away due to a puncture, took us to the local station for a trip out when we were car less, booked our taxi to Pisa to collect a new car and were just lovely. Even though they lived next door we had our privacy. The accommodation was better than the photos, easy car parking, lovely plunge pool and our hosts left out local wine, procesco, biscuits, home made limoncello plus more. Easy couple of minutes walk to some nice restaurants, cafés and a very good supermarket. We did park and ride for Florence which was easy, but train station just 6 minutes away. Lucca; 30 mins on the train was a really lovely city. Thank you Guiseppe and Cinzia. We will be returning!"
Rustic single house with exclusive swimming pool and large private garden

"Casa Melograno is a beautiful old stone cottage surrounded by nature and is about an hour’s drive from Pisa airport. The views are truly stunning and the swimming pool area is a sun trap and perfect for relaxing. All you can hear is the sound of birds singing and I’ve never seen so many swallows flying around, they would swoop down and briefly dip their wings in the pool, it was lovely to watch. The house has all essentials that you need (soap, shampoo, dishwasher tablets, pepper, olive oil etc).Communication with Luca was very good, as was check in/check out. As there was nobody arriving on our last day, he was even kind enough to let us have a late check out.The drive up to the house is indeed very steep but it is worth it, just for the views alone!"

"Pool was good but ladder was unsafe for any older personBed linen was on very poor quality side.Ripped doors, thin bedsheets & poor quality towels….Suggest attention be given to these items.Kitchen knives, glasses etc were limited and of poor quality."

"This was ideal property for extended family break with our kids and their partners in their 20s. All rooms were spacious with own bathrooms. The covered terrace looking up the valley was the favourite place to hang out. So much interesting history to discover in walking distance as well as easy access to Lucca and Florence by train or driving and more serious walking options in Alpi Apuane nearby . Great local cafe /bar in walking distance. "
