"The property was well presented and comfortable. Everything was in walking distance and it was no trouble parking the car because of residence permit. A great place to stay when visiting York. Only downsides were rear yard was so overgrown it was unusable, the welcome pack was derisory. "

Had a kids park a few minutes walk away which we loved.Only suggestion would be black out curtains or blinds in the bedroom for a more natural wake up.Loved the cosy high back chair sat n read for hours.Thankyou for a lovely break, would definitely return "

"Hotel was clean, unfortunately our room was located by the cleaners room so it was pretty noisy early on also lots of noise from other guests early in the morning. We were also located right above the bar/restaurant so from around 6am we could hear noise from there. Staff were friendly at reception and rooms were comfortable"
