"We stayed in room 8. It was much bigger than what we were expecting. Very comfortable bed and lovely shower. Plenty of tea/coffee/sugar supplied for our stay. Good amount of clothes hangers provided too. Only negative thing was the sofa in the room. It's most definitely seen better days. It was covered with throw overs, which was fine, but after sitting on it , we realised we were covered in small black bits. The throw over had slipped down and revealed the leather peeling off all over. Hence what all the bits were. Other than that, we had the perfect stay. Elford is in a good location, with ample parking spaces. Literally a 10 minute walk to the harbour."

"The rooms are above the station inn pub. Room only in a double room. Room was clean and nicely decorated. No air con but a fan. Tea and coffee available in room. Sea kelp body soap etc Stairs upto the rooms but the guy who checked us in helped us upstairs. The bar was great and the staff friendly. Great selection of beers. Great act on 8-10pm had a great time. "

"I was a solo traveller, my 2 dogs accompanied me. I was absolutely blown away by the hotel, absolutey immaculate, the decor was beautiful, oak & brass. The hotel looked like it had recently been refurbished. I enjoyed a lovely walk into Whitby. The breakfast was the best ive had. The service and friendliness of the staff made me feel at ease. I really cant wait to go back. I've told so many friends and family about this place. Its my new favourite. "

"This hotel is fabulous ,gorgeous,clean rooms ,it was a weekend for us as a couple so not sure what would be available for children ,but from what we saw and needed they were great!! Such helpful staff giving us details of our parking the evening before ,which then ment as we got there earlier we were able to use the pass once we got parked up .I would highly recommend here ,we for sure would visit again for our Whitby stay "
