"Absolutely amazing stay. The hotel was beautiful, and very accommodating. We stayed in room 6 in the courtyard, and it was one of the nicest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in, truly beautiful. Really cosy and romantic. We had our dog with us as well, they left a dog bowl and some treats in the room for him which was a lovely addition. Food in restaurant for breakfast and dinner was lovely too. Will definitely be back! "

"Last minute booking and what a great little find. Room was spacious and beds comfortable with tea and coffee facilities. Shower was pretty low pressure but got us all clean and in all we had a great stay. Location is brilliant, 10 mins walk to the beach and 15/20 mins walk into Whitby centre. Only downside is no breakfast available but plenty of places in Whitby for this. "

"Was a nice place, the inside was much nicer than the outside, the breakfast was great but the pub is noisy. They do close at 11 and things quiet down quickly after that. To be expected at an inn like this but was slightly annoying after a long day walking. "

"Arrived later in the evening, welcome pack was ready for us. Room was small but had everything we needed and was lovely and clean. Nice view from seating area in room and in a great location for exploring Whitby. Parking was made easy with a permit which cost £5 for the weekend. We left the car at the hotel for the weekend and walked everywhere. Would recommend this guest house, we had no problems at all during our stay. "

"Rachael and Rory were perfect hosts and were always there to assist us. The icing on the cake was a delicious Yorkshire Brack cake waiting for us on our arrival and to top it all Rachael made us a cake half way through our visit. The accommodation was excellent. "I really enjoyed my stay here, the location was good, the breakfast was really amazing value and very tasty, and the staff were all very friendly and very helpful. I would go again without a doubt. The main problem we had was the weather, which is nothing to do with our accommodation. "
