"Nothing was too much trouble for the staff here. They where so catering to my every need "

"Arrived early at the hotel, wanted to check in didn’t expect a room, however it was ready so they let me have it. Explained all about the parking reserved me a space, showed me where the car park was and how to get onto it. Very helpful staff, very clean room, nice hot water, bed a little hard but a good nights sleep was had, lift was out of order which was explained to me straight away asked if I could manage to walk up three flights of stairs, was offered help with my luggage, breakfast was basic compared to other hotels I’ve stayed in but plenty of it& very nice. All in all I was made to feel very welcome, nothing was a problem, the hotel is dated in need of redecoration which I understand is underway. However the welcome from the staff, cleanliness, nice breakfast more than made up for it. I would stay here again, definitely recommend it. "

"I stayed at the Wilson for a couple of nights when working in nearby Whitby, a ten minute drive away. Sneaton is a quiet hamlet near to Ruswarp and is very quiet so great for a peaceful night of sleep. The bed at the Wilson was comfortable with clean crisp bedding. The room was on the small side as it was the attic of the Wilson BUT I was there to sleep after long work days. The room was well set out with a window looking out to the coast, two chairs were placed near the window so I enjoyed my cup of tea on waking. The car park was large enough to afford plenty of spaces to choose from. The downstairs bar and restaurant looked to be very nice, however, I missed out on both as I was an early start and late finish so also missed out on breakfast "

"Had a lovely stay from start to finish. Absolutely lovely welcome and even helped us with a later checkout. Staff are lovely and friendly. The breakfast was fab. Lots of it cooked fresh. We had a view of the seafront, which was an added bonus. Would definitely recommend booking here for a stay. Thank you everyone x x. "

"Lovely Hotel. It was quite expensive for an overnight stay but very comfy beds and great staff. The lady on reception personally escorted us to our room upon arrival and the restaurant staff were very knowledgeable about the menu. Saltburn is lovely and the sea-front is a short walk from the hotel. The hotel is very 'quirky' with it's decor and antiques, but we liked this. There's a lovely outside seating area. We had a 'corner' room, with windows either side which was nice. Good sized room and shower. Thanks to the staff for making us feel so welcome. "
