"Front desk staff was excellent, room was clean and comfortable, with a bright window that lets fresh air in.
Perfect location near the Chateau and main part of town, yet on a quiet street along a park. "
"We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Port Royal. This is a small hotel in an old stone building but the interior has been renovated so it combines the charm of an older building with modern conveniences. The rooms are comfortable and quiet and the staff is terrific. They are happy to speak with you in French or English. Taverne Louise, the hotel’s restaurant, is very charming and popular. They provide a nice breakfast with quality ingredients that are well prepared. If you just want something on the simpler side, I’d recommend going to a local boulangerie because there are some very good ones close by. Finally, the location is fantastic and you are just steps away from the port or old town. Overall, it’s a great place to stay."
