Port Denison Beach House

House built in the 1960’s . Beach house tile and wood floors. Single storey home with partial ocean views. 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms. 2 queen beds and 2 single beds. 1 folder bed and 1 queens size blow up bed available Linen and towels provided for the 4 beds not the folder bed or blow up bed.Lounge, dining and sunroom. large front and back yards. plenty of parking for boat and caravan. Access from the front of the block and also the rear.
Undercover patio front and back of house. Walking distance from tavern, fish and chips, and supermarket. If you have young children we ask you to keep an eye on them at all times because with any house there are hazards such as steps and plants which may cause allergies if eaten, kids will put things in there mouth. No babysitters on site, need to bring your own.
Boat ramps and safe swimming beach. We allow pets but for the comfort of others please clean up after them otherwise we will need addition funds for cleaning.

Locked box code will be provided 24 hours before booking.

We ask you call us if you have an issue rather than waiting to review us and give an unsatisfactory rating. Sometimes a mouse or cockroach or crab may slip into the house. We do spray and bait under the house to keep them at bay. Talk to the locals and they will confirm this.

Also no Wifi available. in recent months there have been a few Western power outages please check their website for information. When it’s very windy TV reception is not great this is for all of port Denison/Dongara. On the whole Port Denison is a beautiful holiday destination with great beaches, natural beauty and attractions. Just come to relax and enjoy. New kitchen has been ordered date for install not yet confirmed Dongara has limited trades people.

Amazing location

Great location for access to the beach and town. Lovely to sit on the front verandah or sun room at the end of the day. The house had all the features you need for a holiday and was comfortable.

A great beach house

We enjoyed the house, simple comforts and a proper beach house. The convenient location withing walking distance of most amenities and nice and peaceful. Definitely recommend if your looking for simplicity.

We loved our stay here. House was fantastic for the family. Morning coffees and evening chills on the comfy outdoor chairs out the front. Coffee pod machine was very much appreciated. Communication with owner was very easy and much appreciated. We will be booking again.

Amazing stay, central location, convenient with enough parking space even for boat, enclosed backyard for our furry friend and clean barbecue. Only thing that we could recommend is a hairdryer. Thank you, we will definitely come again.

4 Ladies go to Denison annually for a lawn bowls carnival. Our accommodation suits us perfectly. It is close to Bowls Club & amenities. The accommodation is clean, neat & communication with owners is spot on. Fully recommend.

Though an old lady, the house was lovely, collecting beach drift wood for the fire place was so peaceful and gave us a homely relaxing. We will be back for sure. Sadly, we had to leave early due to illness.

Overall happy with this property for the price. Equiped well, everything you need, some attention could be spent on the kitchen cabinetry for a small price.Location as described, short stroll to tavern and across the road from the beach. The queen size bed, extremely comfortable.Port Denison and Dongara on the whole a very pleasant and quiet experience .

The location is good. The size of enclosed yard for dog is great. The provision of extras like tea, coffee, soap in bathroom if you forgot yours, was appreciated. The house is old and tired, kitchen and contents needs overhaul. There were a few cleaning and maintenance issues which will be addressed directly with host. Its disappointing that dog friendly often equates to dilapidated. Would I book again, probably not.

the Port Denison stay

We enjoyed the Port Denison stay and explored the area thoroughly. The house is not new and has had a "Few alterations" during its lifetime. The wood fire was good and we did use it. The counter in the front is a great addition; we got a few great sunsets over the Big4 Park. General maintenance does need a bit of a looking at. (I'm Very OCD ) sorry We left it a bit cleaner than we found it, but didn't vacuum under the couches, mainly because we're all old ........s Didn't appreciate the laundry fridge stinking of dead fish though
